The wife and I were fans of "Masked Singer" as a stupid weekly diversion, but we stopped watching after season 3 due to Cannon's antisemitic comments.  If he's out for Season 5, we might give it another shot.

as for stupid weekly diversions...... this list will know that one of my guilty pleasures is/was Big Brother.

Well my son has been watching Hell's Kitchen ( a few seasons) and since our Ontario lockdown started (again) at Christmas, we started watching Season 19 together starting in January.     It's remarkable how the episodic formula is similar to Big Brother or survivor (challenges, nominations).   Another tidbit is that the cut that airs on Fox is bleeped.   The versions streamed from ITV in the UK are not-bleeped which is so much more emhpatic.

Think I'm going to have to try to make risotto sometime.  Ditto for scallops.   I don't think I'll try beef wellington though.
