it was recently announced that Rogers would be taking a bunch of American content away from Corus: The Food Network is one of them.
It's an hour-long interview, but it covers a lot of info from the guy that was Formerly the licensing guy at Corus. He doesn't spill any internal beans, but does provide a lot of context on how foreign licensing of content in Canada used to work under old regulations (say a decade ago), and how things have changed now (streaming, FAST, and no "genre protection" on linear channels).
