Do the interns who book press junket appearances even know what they’re doing anymore?

Last week was wall to wall “Happy Gilmore 2”, with someone from the cast appearing anywhere that had a micrphone. Including Christopher McDonald appearing for half an inning in the Mets radio booth during a game. How much do they even pay for that?

Wednesday night was “ Naked Gun” night. Liam Neeson appeared on Colbert and Pam Anderson was on Seth Meyers. I guess they don’t think that there’s audience overlap because both shows had the same freaking clip to play. The same clip on the same night?

How many more appearances do they have booked this week and have they figured out how to pull another clip from the movie?

Remember, the shows all do repeats Fridays. Sandler's July 22nd visit to Seth is tonight's re-air. Kimmel had the week off, no word on next week from Sue T. "Gilmore" co-star Dan Patrick has been flogging it constantly since he and the guys were on the Feud the other week.     B

My concern is why Desi Lydic didn't ask Tony Hale last night on "TDS" why the F he and D'Arcy Carden of "The Good Place" made a movie for frickin' Angel Studios (it's called "Sketch" and it opens next week--I should say that I saw it because this week's Monday night mystery movie at those chains who do those screenings and I have to admit it's a decent kids movie and there isn't any overt Bible-thumping--I suspect it was a pickup of an indie project which got approved by "the Angel Guild," like the only other Angel film I've seen, "Bonhoeffer," the biopic of the theologian who allegedly was picked to assassinate Hitler--and that was also a Monday mystery movie--currently, it's only available on PPV). But still, Angel Studios is an organization that one would think would be a great target for a show like "TDS."

Correct, it was an acquisition, not an Angel original, so Tony and D'Arcy didn't make the movie "for" Angel: https://www.indiewire.com/news/breaking-news/angel-studios-acquires-sketch-tony-hale-darcy-carden-1235112746/

I’m not a fan of the overwhelming majority of Christian media (full-disclosure: I am a Christian and I teach at a Christian school). Most of what Angel releases is garbage that makes Hallmark movies seem edgy and cerebral. I am a reluctant fan of “The Chosen” seasons one through four, but the writing and production of season five is just genuinely some of the worst I’ve been subjected to in recent memory. I do not trust Jenkins and the others at Angel to finish the series with even a moderate amount of quality, which is sad and annoying for many reasons. And I won’t subject myself to any other content they produce.

But I do appreciate the talents of Darcy Carden.

FWIW, I'd just seen Michelle Miller ("CBS Saturday Morning," timeshifted on also-Eye-owned Philly 57) interview Hale... at one point she LOLed:
