Quickie Review: American Auto

Not a new premise, not new jokes, not good casting. The premise of the pilot episode is borrowed quite a bit from an episode of Better Off Ted, which was a favorite show of mine that nobody watched. Better Off Ted did it better.

I still find it amusing that Jay Harrington (Ted) is now on SWAT.

I agree with Kevin about American Auto.  Saw the pilot, and the casting is really underwhelming.  Another thing that Better Off Ted managed to do better.

Better Off Ted was brilliant, and I think I still have Casual Fribsday listed as an event in my calendar.

I’m only willing to give American Auto an extended shot because the creator of the show also created Superstore. I’m hopeful that, as with that show, American Auto will come into its own over time.
