Instead of handing the time back to the affiliates,  CBS is replacing "@fter Midnight" with the show that it replaced two years ago, reruns of Byron Allen's "Comics Unleashed" (which is running on some CBS affils after "Midnight")--this will start Sept. 22, so assume the final first run of "Midnight" within the next few weeks and then reruns for the rest of the summer:


So there's no one out there like Tom Snyder who could do a straight interview show at 12:37 on CBS?

I'm confused - how did @fter Midnight replace Comics Unleashed?  Prior to @M, the 12:30 slot was held by The Late Late Show, and Comics Unleashed would air AFTER that - at least in the NY & PHL markets.  If anything, this is a promotion for Byron Allen's show (as I called a few months back when @M's cancellation was announced) and a serious demotion for the rest of humanity.
