He went on to head the net's late-night department -- only to have to mediate the feud between Jay and Conan.

British Jimmy allowed a fellow former NBC Page, now the west coast head of CBS late night, to toast Ludwin at the close of the show.

By the way, Nick is a good guy, and I’m not at all bitter that 20 years ago I hired him to work security at the AMAs, and now he’s a network executive and I work a warehouse job.
