I accidentally swiped left on my Samsung phone the other day and found I have a new video platform. Oddly, searching around didn't show much as apparently the tech media don't think it's worth paying any attention to. Right now it looks like Pluto TV did a few years ago, which is an aggregator of free internet video feeds.

The app opens on the video tab, called "watch," and there are also tabs called "read" for a news aggregator, "listen" for a podcasting app, and "play" for some very basic games.

That looks right. When I first got a smart TV I looked at a bunch of preinstalled video apps and they all either had public domain content or just scraped online video from other sites. The thing that surprised me was that it was suddenly on my phone with no announcement or other hype.
