Her Peacock show is getting a two episode airing on NBC tonight and on March 6 at 1:30 AM instead of reruns of Lily Singh's show. As the article points, while it might make sense to make it permanent - new Ruffin instead of Singh reruns - it probably won't happen because affiliates are hostile toward Peacock.

Amber Rluffin's Peacock show renewed through September.
I liked Larry Wilmore's show more.

As much as there's a need for a woman of color hosting a show like that, I have to wonder .... Ruffin? As much as I applaud Meyers for having (AFAIK) a diverse writing room, every time Ruffin, with her gratingly perky personality (and I understand the reason for the schtick) comes on screen, on goes the mute button.

And I agree about Wilmore. His show -- and especially Robin Thede -- were far preferable to me.
