By mutual agreement, to no one's surprise--he won't be seen in the last few episodes of what will probably be the NBC sitcom's last season:


For the record, "Community"'s back Feb. 7, although the fanboiz won't believe it until they see it.

"The new flick will be written by series creator Dan Harmon, and will return many of the original stars: McHale, Pudi, Alison Brie (Annie Eddison), Gillian Jacobs (Britta Perry), Jim Rash (Craig Pelton), and Ken Jeong (Ben Chang)."

Chase not returning is no great loss (especially since is character was killed off). Was hoping to see either Donald Glover or Yvette Nicole Brown on this list, but I guess you can't win 'em all.

Been rewatching this series. It holds up better than I thought it would. I’m up to the season where Chase was filmed separately from others and just cut in to make it look like he was there. Ultimately, removing him from the show was not a significant loss. Not having Brown or Glover for the movie would be sad.

Brown and McHale did an episode of "Password" together a few weeks ago, so clearly they are still friends. I still have hopes she'll be in the movie.

They all showed up for the charity Zoom table read of an episode during lockdown, so I suspect it'll just be a scheduling issue as much as anything.

I would be amazed if there aren't at least cameos.

The table read is well worth watching if you've not seen it. Pretty sure Kevin did at the time.
