It was nice to see Mitch McConnell eat crap after Jon Stewart successfully lobbied to get permanent funding for 9/11 First Responders.

I think we're going a little over the top with praise for Stewart, though. And I'm a Jon Stewart fan. I thought it was a bit much for him to salute the detective who died. What came to my mind is that people not wearing hats should not salute. Maybe that only applies in the military. A hand over the heart would be a more appropriate gesture.
Someone, I can't find the tweet now, said if Jon Stewart went to Iowa and did a decent job of connecting with the voters, he would win the caucus.
Am I wrong?

Any progressive media personality could theoretically gain the nomination. I also like Stewart, and I believe him to be smarter than the average TV talk show host, but I’d prefer he not transition into a career politician

I can't find the tweet Steve wanted either, as the search spits out tons of stuff from the 2016 campaign... was that when it was?

My cousin, who belongs to a convent in northern NJ, can answer a canonization question better than I could... not that she'd want to, tho...

Watch, he'll find his way under Stephen's desk at the Ed soon...
