Mike O’Brien announced on his Twitter feed on Friday. Widely reported (here’s TV Wrap): 

Disappointing, to say the least. This was a great show and a breakout role for Paula Pell. The students were also great, particularly Allisyn Arm as Heather (the one with the glasses).

I wonder if this is how NBC execs planned it.

If the repulsive color scheme of the show (which looks like the reason Howard Johnson’s went belly-up) weren’t enough to keep me from watching, Oswalt would be.
