I'm a massive Hiaasen fan, and this really seems to capture the tone of his novels. For example, listen to the voiceover that does the recap of episode one right at the start of episode two. Very funny.

This series seems to be pretty close to the book, and I'm all in.

CBS Sunday Morning had a segment this morning on Hiaasen.

Finally got around to watching Bad Monkey.   I really liked it.   our household did a watching-together approach to this episode and the other members of my family kept laughing at ME for my out-loud laughter at things that they did not think were that funny.    I guess it's just the Bill Lawrence humor/approach that I like.

I liked the appearance of other Scrubs actors in the cast as well.
