Comedic character actor. Did a memorable turn in a handful of Stargate episodes. Also in “White Collar”. Cause of death not yet made public, which frankly can’t be good.

He was reportedly battling cancer. Perhaps that's not the cause of death, but I think it's premature to assume something worse.

Great actor. I did a recent re-watch of NYPD Blue and remembered how much I enjoyed him there, in addition to White Collar and Stargate.
