Side note: Why does every TV series insist that “computer guy” (sometimes a female) by socially awkward (one might say “on the spectrum”)? Every human being has had a computer in his/her pocket for years now. Can we dispel the myth that “computer guy” can’t also be a socially normal, reasonably well adjusted person?

One imagines that the geezers (my own demo) who love their CBS procedurals don't want too much tinkering with the formula. Computers are too esoteric to be incomprehensible to "normal" folks.
