Happened to turn on the show as the memorial section started. Included was Sonny Curtis, country artist known to us as the composer of Mary Tyler Moore's theme song. Except his Wiki and IMDb pages indicate he's still around.

They were memorializing a different Sonny Curtis — the one who died was best known as a pedal steel guitarist who played with George Jones and Tammy Wynette.
