If I remember the sequence of events correctly, Late Show News led to TV Barn, which eventually spawned this list.  I wasn't here from jump, but I think I've been around for 95 percent of it.  Which is sobering.  Thank you Aaron.

I was a subscriber to the original list (as I have noted before, literally the third thing I searched for the first day I was connected to the internet on AOL was “David Letterman” (the first was the topic of a research project I was working on, the second was “Los Angeles Lakers”). I joined listservs dedicated to all three subjects, belonged to the first for ten years, the second two ( including this, in its various forms) continuing to today.

Not all of us were lucky to have seen AND heard them. When I went there, YT had cut off all but the first 1-and-change seconds or so of the link, forcing AB to link to another video in which she is not seen, but a lot of other pertinent stuff is... the original, with stills of both, is linked from the mailchi.mp page, so now I at least know what she looks like after all these years!

Curiosity took over, even before we were sent to class for Lotus 123 and WordPerfect.

I stumbled upon Aaron 30-years-ago. He and I were both blogging before blogging was a thing. His focus was Letterman; my focus was on the OJ Simpson trial. I remember asking him for guidance uploading/attaching pictures when an embittered member of OJ’s inner circle <cough> Kardashian <\cough> leaked the autopsy report to me. We subscribed to each other’s email lists. Aaron turned his writing into a career, whereas I just became another online lunatic ranting and raving about this and that.
