Dan McNeil, half of WSCR's McNeil and Parkins, apparently thought the clothes Taylor wore as sideline reporter to Fowler and Herbstreit's guest shot on "Monday Night Football" (Steelers at Giants) would be more in vogue for an adult-film-awards show...

McNeil has apparently never actually seen any of the outfits worn to an adult film awards show. Taylor looked nice. Sure, a little more stylish than the conservative clothes worn by a lot of other female sideline reporters, but certainly nothing too risqué for network TV. She doesn’t need to apologize for being attractive and dressing the part.

A friend and former (younger) African-American colleague of mine just published an essay in the Chronicle of Higher Education about her experience of being treated as a Prostitute by Hotel staff while waiting to interview door her first academic job. This is that.
