I thought the entire segment was brilliant. The fake spokeswoman described the fake product with enthusiastic confidence, and the hosts just nodded along, appearing to be convinced of the product's effectiveness.

Hilarious and horrifying at the same time - perfect Oliver.

Technically the stations call them "lifestyle" programs, but they still have anchorish hosts and newsish lower thirds and most people don't know the difference.

The bad thing is that no one will probably lose their job for being snookered by John Oliver.
