This is about to become an issue in the house. I’m open to suggestions/recommendations.--

For the regular weeknight syndicated version, the only way to officially do it is to get a streaming service that includes local channels. (People do unofficially post episodes to YouTube, but those may be of dubious quality and will be taken down as soon as Sony finds them.)

For the tournaments that air in ABC prime-time, those are available on Hulu the next day.

The times my OTA DVR has failed, I’ve gone to YouTube first, doing a search for Jeopardy and the date. The people who post shows corrupt the files in some minor way to get around the automated IP checks. In the small number of times I had to do it the quality has been hit or miss, with problems like missing chunks.

If that fails I download a copy from a torrent site (not the Pirate Bay).

So, the only legal non cable/dish option available is YouTubeTV… so now I’m paying $70 a month so my mother in law can watch 30 minutes of programming a day.

This week, I’ve learned that Blossom is doing a Jack Webb impersonation when she hosts the show. Not sure why she does that. My mother in law prefers watching it with the subtitles on rather than hear her voice. I do not blame her.
