While his record label (Florida-based TK, better known for, among others, KC & the Sunshine Band) tried to keep him out of the spotlight despite reaching the top 10 on both the pop and R&B charts in 1979 with "What You Won't Do For Love," he did guest star in an episode of Geena Davis' Gary David Goldberg-co-created sitcom "Sara" in 1985, tho apparently not singing there either... Tuesday in Great Meadows, not an hour from me in NJ; 71.
