Colbert Late Show keeps squeezing the first break

Unless it's a live show or a repeat, the Late Show has continued to run studio footage during the first part of the first commercial break.

I make mention of it tonight mainly because you get a glimpse of Stew Beef before he takes he customary spot beneath the desk.  Since this is arguably a spoiler (and relevant), a little space.

Mr. Stewart *pre-taped* his appearance under Stephen's desk.  So don't expect him to talk about the trial.  He's actually promoting his next film, which is a political comedy that I just can't get interested in.

If you want to point a finger at the spoiler (spoilerer?), Colbert billboarded the appearance on the way into the first ad break.
