Why is Jay Leno on a promotional tour?

I only ask because he’s doing all the podcasts, but he doesn’t seem to actually be promoting anything.

The Chin is touring (with Arsenio Hall joining him on some dates), so maybe the publicity is to shift attention to that from the recent accidents and injuries?
