"Have I Got News for You," the long-running UK comedy news panel quiz (66 cycles over 34 years on the BBC), which has been rumored to have an American version coming for years (to give you an idea of how long it's been, at one point Norm MacDonald was being considered for host), will finally be coming in a U.S. version this fall to CNN (no date announced, although it's believed it'll get a Saturday night slot next to the repeat of HBO's "Real Time with Collie Molester"):

No indication either of host or anchor panelists, although the UK version has been going without a regular host for years now.

my wish list: John Fugelsang, Sam Seder, Janeane Garofalo, Francesca Fiorentini, Hasan Minhaj, Lewis Black

my understanding of reality: none of these people will ever get anywhere near this show

They will infuse the show with youth. The youth has too much contempt for itself to watch themselves. It will go the way of DL Hughley’s short-lived CNN series.
