Perhaps, but I think the explanation is even simpler. As most any Californian old enough to remember his time as Governor knows, and as I know more directly from several experiences hanging at a local high end resort (a perk thru my wife’s job at the time, we could never actually afford it) when Arnold was there with his wife (the words “Maria, bring more towels for the kids!” In full Austrian accent still brings laughter to my children), Dude says “I’ll be back” constantly, in every situation, serious or not, appropriate or not. At this point I doubt he is capable of signing his name or saying goodbye without that catchphrase. I’m 100% sure he has left word for it to be inscribed on his tombstone, and also probably to have a recording of him saying it be the last thing heard at his funeral.
