Well, sort of: Entrepreneur/sometime political commentator John Catsimatidis famously acquired "77 WABC," which evolved into a talker after shedding most of its music DJs in the 80s... the longtime satradio host, 84, delights in the fact that after all those years, he can do live commercial reads again...
He's lucky, as are many in that bizzzzz, that online streaming is keeping many AM stations from sinking into obscurity...
