DeGeneres says that the standup special "For Your Approval" will deal with the alleged toxic workplace on her talk show that more or less caused what she calls "being kicked out of show business," although the question remains why she chose to do her show with the Warner Bros./Telepictures execs who already had a reputation for toxic workplaces--it's her first standup special since 2018 (the previous one was in 2003) and she says that it will be final one of her career:
