The 2016 version was later played (edited, naturally) on CBS during a repeat slot.  They'll probably do so this year.

Alas, Colbert is too wedded to CBS/Showtime political analysts for my tastes.  But I also think shows like The Circus are a symptom of our inadequate journalism in this area.  Of course, YMMV.
