There’s no point in Shannen pursuing this, because it is a no-win scenario. If Shannen’s allegations are correct, then all she’s proven is that a second-tier former child actress had more clout in the industry than Shannen did at the time, or Shannen truly was abhorrent to work with, and she was given the boot because she lived up to her own reputation. Whether Alyssa made it happen, or whether the producers and studio made it happen, it happened and there were reasons that it happened. Furthering the story isn’t helpful. Shannen is only served by leaving it in the past. But then again, we don’t always do what’s clearly in our own best interests.
