I don’t know how it works in entertainment. In sports, when a reporter says insiders are informing them about candidates to fill an open slot, the insiders are usually agents trying to generate heat for their clients.

I like both choices, but I suspect the powers that be will want somebody younger. I’m out of the desired demographic now… whomever they choose shouldn’t meet with my approval or something went wrong somewhere.
