The series, planned for '24-'25, imagines a contemporary doctor (Morris Chestnut), a year after Holmes was done in by Moriarty, returning to health care as the head of a clinic dealing with rare disorders... Canadian-born physician/researcher Sharon Moalem (Wikipedia) is a co-exec of the program, created by Craig Sweeny ("Elementary"), who also co-execs with Chestnut and Larry Teng, the latter and Sweeny being under overall deals at CBS in-house...

Considering “Elementary” was my least favorite version of Sherlock Holmes, mainly because the creative team failed to understand the Watson character, I have low expectations of this series.
