You can redeem a code (included in P-Stew's announcement) that unlocks the first season of Picard for you.  So you're signing up with a promo code that only unlocks the one show.

Yep.  I week free before they want your money.  As I'm already a sucker, I mean subscriber, I don't know if this Picard-specific promo is time limited.

I've never felt that CBS AllAccess has been promoted well, or even coherently.  This isn't changing my mind.

I signed up for the free month. Binge-watched Picard. 

Some spoilery stuff...

Not a bad series, although the ending made me want to send my iPad sailing across the room. I mean, they took a few liberties with the characters throughout the season, most of which were ok, but that ending... ugh. 

That said, I think a Seven of Nine series would be more interesting. At least, there is more you could do with that character. She was probably my least favorite character on Voyager, but on Picard there’s a good evolution of the character, with many more stories to tell. Picard’s story seems to have been told, which is why the ending of the season finale was... just... bad.
