I have an adjustable table much like pictured here. If you're at all familiar with them, you also know they have a 'lip' practically all the way around them. I use a piece of wax paper lengthwise across it to minimize staining from things placed on it, but my housemate has a ceiling fan above it, which tends to blow the wax paper off. I want to use something flexible and durable to hold the w.p. in place, but not so durable as to scratch the plastic. Ideas?

Seems a bit pricey... and likely not reusable. I'll go hit a "dollar" chain for metal tablecloth clips, which should be flexible enough for the task.    B

It can’t be moved to a place not below the ceiling fan?  Not relevant, but I hate ceiling fans.

I have been known to take it into the next room (no fan) to put next to the computer, but I am expected to put it back, as housemate uses it more often.

Vinyl shelf liner, cut to size, and some two sided tape?

Both good ideas, thanks to you and Melissa...    B

Actually, if you want to go a step further and avoid the residue 2-sided tape can leave, use Command adhesive strips.
