Along with a Godfather series, more Amy Schumer (ack), and a Beavis and Butthead movie

I have a lot of doubts about this, even though I was very fond of the original. John Mahoney passed away in 2018, and Martin's interactions with his stuffy sons was a big part of the comedy.

I don't think any of the other cast members have signed on to the project, so there would be no Niles, Daphne, Roz, or the staff from the radio station.

If I had to guess, this time around it will be Frasier’s happy-go-lucky free-spirit of a son (Frederick in the original series, who was rarely seen so the role can be recast) who moves back in with his uptight father. They can cast a young famous guy to play his son. That way they can still do the “Odd Couple” style of comedy.

My Twitter is full of the sentiment that a Frazier without David Hyde Pierce is not worth having at all. It rarely happens. but I agree with my Twitter feed.

I didn't watch the sow much, so my perspective is limited, but I think Jane Leeves was the only one expendable out of the central cast.

While I think isn't a great idea, the opposition to it strikes me as wrong-headed.

Firstly, it's like complaining before the original series started that continuing in a new city without any of the "Cheers" cast dooms the show from the start. and secondly, the series ended with Frasier leaving everything in Seattle behind to move to Chicago.

While I doubt there's not a chance of getting Laura Linney to resume her role (assuming he ended up with her), there's no reason this can't succeed -- providing the showrunners are as creative as the original staff and the survivors of the "Frasier" cast are willing to do guest spots, as did the "Cheers" cast.
