After national criticism, including a blistering Instagram post from North Carolinian folk singer (and author of the Pulitzer-winning opera "Omar") Rhiannon GIddens, Raleigh, NC non-commercial classical station WCPE will go ahead and broadcast the entire Metropolitan Opera Saturday broadcast season, including operas the station found objectionable that just happened to be written by BIPOCs and LGBTQs:
