Ha!  As soon as I saw Trump's dance, I told husband all it needed was the thumbs and the little kick.

I continue to be baffled by the musical choices on his rally stops - lots of Village People (YMCA, Macho Man) and for some unknown reason, Fortunate Son, an anthem to poor young men who were unable to dodge the draft during the Vietnam era.  Sample of lyrics below for anyone unfamiliar with the song.
Some folks are born, silver spoon in hand
Lord, don't they help themselves, y'all
But when the taxman comes to the door
Lord, the house looks like a rummage sale, yeah
It ain't me
It ain't me
I ain't no millionaire's son, no, no
It ain't me
It ain't me
I ain't no fortunate one, no

It's either John Scalzi or Josh Marshall who coined "Trump's Razor": find the simplest, dumbest explanation and that's the best guess as to why Trump does something.

Assume that Trump or someone close to him simply loves the melody, and has never ever actually listened to the words.

Marshall discovered the principle in a July '16 article on the rightie blog he heads, then Scalzi gave it its name on the tweetybox.
