Peter Pan, The Aristocats, Swiss Family Robinson, and Dumbo among those prefixed with expanded advisories, such as to the slanted eyes and buck teeth of an Aristocats character, and the crows' minstrel show in Dumbo...

I'm OK with this. I'd rather see the original work preserved with commentary/cautions reflective of modern values over editing the offensive parts (or outright fridging the content*).

*Referring to situations like the films Bob named above where portions may be construed as offensive; "Song of the South" is a different animal entirely.

I find it interesting that on the details page for some of the classic Disney cartoon shorts there is nothing more than "this film contains cultural references that are out-of-date" without saying what they are--and when I watch them, it seems to be nothing more shocking than people listening to the radio or Huey, Dewey and Louie playing pranks on Unca Donald (which means it's OK for them to be running around the world engaging in various adventures with their cousin Webby as long as their Scottish-accented uncle is supervising them--not the one that's hard to understand and didn't have their voice cleaned up for TV animation).
