He'll be the 42nd host to also be musical guest on the show... the last two were Gary Busey in 1979, ostensibly after The Buddy Holly Story, and budding rapper Deion Sanders (you might know him for other things) in 1995...

By last two, we're talking about the last two hosts/musical guests who weren't known for being particularly musical, as singer Charli XCX did double duty way back in November.
