Anthony Anderson, mother team again for new game show

Jamie Foxx execs (and was originally slated to host with his daughter Corinne) "We Are Family," but gave up the presenter jobs to the "To Tell the Truth" duo when he came down with an as-yet-unidentified illness... the show, from Jeff Apploff ("Beat Shazam," "Don't Forget the Lyrics") out of Fox Alternative, "follows a studio audience of 100 contestants who are competing for up to $150,000 by guessing which celebrity the performer is related to. Celebrities appearing... include musicians and pro athletes, Fox said."

No indication that it's going to be shot in Ireland, as are four other Fox game shows, two of them produced by Apploff (the shows are "Name That Tune," "theat Shazam," "Don't Forget the Lyrics!" and the new "The Floor"--the next season of "Gordon Ramsay's Next Level Chef," which doesn't do location segments, is also being shot in Ireland).

But being on Fox, it'll be overproduced, with openings that may reveal outcomes, contestants screaming "LOCK IT IN!", the host saying "the correct answer is...AFTER THE BREAK!", oversweetening and the studio audience applauding every damn thing and obviously staged audience reaction shots.
