"Good Morning Britain" could lose US reporter of colour

Layoffs announced by ITV back in May would cut around half of the staff from the net's four daytime talkers, and Noel Phillips, who is black, is apparently one of them, tho no specifics announced... ITV has said that the cuts will not mean a more-white lineup on-screen... they are also closing GMB's US office as the show moves under ITV News operator ITN:

For the record, the other shows are "Lorraine," as in Lorraine Kelly, who's been doing a mid-morning show since the days of tv-am (the original early morning license on ITV, when there was local programming besides the news, every station had its own name, animated logo--although Yorkshire didn't animate, theme song, live on-camera booth announcers reading viewer birthdays, and I'm sounding like the Transdiffusion group on FB), "This Morning," their "Live!", which has been running forever (I don't know if one of their male hosts has screamed "I'M ONLY ONE MAN!") and used to have a host named Holly Willoughby, the ultimate morning show host name, and "Loose Women," and I'll leave it to you to figure out which American show it's a manque of.
