Movie business watchers probably got a bigger shock from the over $158M worldwide gross for Universal's "Five Nights at Freddy's," the horror film based on a video game set at a deserted Chuck E. Cheese's manque, than from anything in the movie--and Peacock claims (without showing the numbers) that the day-and-date of release in theaters streaming of the film was bigger on the ailing service than any other recent programming, including the streaming premiere of "Super Mario Brothers the Movie":
