It is scheduled to be a two-hour episode tonight. According to the
Tribune Media Services website, it looks like CBS will cut 20 minutes
out of "Survivor" (the usual contestant bitching, leaving in the
challenge and Tribal Council) and stay with the speech at 9, back to
"Survivor" at 9:20 and "America's Culinary Cup" at 10 (but I bet
they'll do a whole hour and go back to "Survivor" at 10). ABC will
just run a half-hour of "The Greatest Living American" at 9:30 (since
each show has two games in it like most prime time game shows, no harm
no foul). NBC seems to be sticking with One Chicago Wednesday, while
Fox is sticking with the two-hour season finale of "Masked Singer" and
The CW's sticking with two hours of "Police 24/7."

I had read that CBS was effectively just going to press 'pause' on Survivor so Cheeto Benito could do his thing, but otherwise run the show in its entirety and push the rest of the schedule (including late news/Colbert) back.  But I guess we'll see.

Also, not that I'm coming to the show's defense (because it's kinda terrible), but the ABC show is called "The Greatest Average American"; I had read that ABC had pulled the planned new episode from airing tonight and is airing a rerun in its place, joining in-progress after the thing.

Yeah, CBS are used to hitting the pause button to do WH stuff, while the title Mark gave suggests that #ThatOdiousFool could somehow be a part of it, which Iiiiii.... don't think Bargatze nor D!sney were planning.     B

On Global, the Survivor broadcast was paused and they played....... Border Security (which I had correctly guessed).    Just as they were about to start playing a 2nd episode of Border Security, the broadcast returned to the beach in Fiji.

Sadly, two Canadians were booted from Survivor last night.
