Netflix France to Start Livestreaming Top-Rated OTA Net

Starting next year, Netflix subscribers in France will be able to livestream and play on demand the programming of TF1, the country's top-rated OTA channel and home of a raft of local versions of well-known unscripted formats (including "Survivor," "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire," "The Masked Singer," "The Voice," "Dancing with the Stars," etc.)--although the net is criticized for its programming being lowbrow and appealing to aging housewives, it is the most-watched channel in France and a fit with Netflix's generalist approach to programming:
