Over the decades it always seemed Paul Mooney was ahead of his time. Now that it feels like his time has finally come, he passed away. RIP

One black comedian, I can't remember who, said Paul Mooney was the real organizer of the comedian strike against The Comedy Store (and I guess The Improv as well) and not Tom Dreesen.

Could have been Mooney himself... Wiki sez he admitted as such in his 2010 memoir, Black is the New White.   B

This was a comedian basically alleging Mooney was slighted for his work organizing the strike because he was black. I want to say it was Keenan Ivory Wayans, but I can't remember.
