He has been suspended by the New Yorker, but just given some time off by CNN.

I have been in six to ten video appointments a day since late March. I know what it means to think the camera and or Mike is muted when they are not. But I have never dropped trou to expose myself to a camera I supposed thought was muted. I have on occasion changed my clothes in the room where my computer is, and thought “oh man, this would be embarrassing if the camera was on and someone was watching”, but, you know that is more of an anxiety day dream than a real possibility.

There’s a myriad of reasons to suspend Tobin, yet there are zero reasons to keep the incompetent ass on the payroll. That one news outlet retains his services is bad enough, but two of them?

Man, I was off Twitter for a few hours.... Then I got back on and wondered what the toobin topic was. A quick Google News search informed me.

I suppose he will be off CNN for a while which might give us more of Preet, who I kinda prefer.

Not sure why I have decided to assign this story to myself to keep the list updated, but Vice has updated their story to indicate it was not really a “Zoom Dick” situation, but more of an unfortunate jerk off situation. Toobin thought he was off camera during a break in the meeting, masturbated during a separate phone call.

More when we have identified who he was talking to.

We won't be seeing him on any OJ acquittal 25th anniversary specials then.

“I was fired today by @NewYorker after 27 years as a Staff Writer. I will always love the magazine, will miss my colleagues, and will look forward to reading their work,” Toobin tweeted Wednesday.

In a company memo, Conde Nast Chief People Officer Stan Duncan wrote that its “investigation regarding Jeffrey Toobin is complete, and as a result, he is no longer affiliated with our company.”

Nice to see they took matters in hand, resulting in a happy ending. In summary, he came and went.

He’s back - at CNN anyway (not The New Yorker). CNN colleague used Jay Leno’s line to begin the rehab process.

LAT story closes with proper note that:

“CNN is gaining a reputation as a very forgiving place to work. The WarnerMedia unit took no action after a Washington Post report revealed last month that CNN host Chris Cuomo had participated in staff calls with his brother New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo on how to respond to sexual harassment allegations against the Democratic politician.”

Although, I think Cuomo’s actions far more disqualifying than Toobin’s...

They are both a couple of jerk-offs
