NY Times Friday on the burgeoning of PB... the city appears to have increasing numbers of courts; Long Beach, CA, is going to annoy people by adding markings to tennis courts; rightie pundit Michelle Malkin owns a fan-discussion site for it; the Tennis Channel is showing PB competitions; and a retired newscaster I don't recognize says "the two sports are equal."

My friend from college is Chris Egan, a senior sports anchor up in the Pacific Northwest. Through him I’m aware that pickle ball has had a massive resurgence up there as well. I suppose I could mock it, but it seems no more or less a waste of time and energy than any other sports.
