The bout between the rightwing loudmouth and the mentally-deficient over-the-hill boxer and the undercard picked up 65M concurrent streams worldwide (38M in the US alone) and had a 56 share of all US TV viewing during the actual fight between midnight and 1 a.m. ET (with Colbert, Fallon and Kimmel reruns as its main competition)--the women's bout on the undercard between Kate Taylor and Andrea Serrano was called by Netflix the most-watch professional women's sports ever with 47M:

For 3 weeks before the match it was on my home screen on Netflix and a 30 second ad was almost as ubiquitous.

I suppose all involved are happily rolling around in their cash but I have to wonder about a state athletic commission approving a boxing match with a 58 year old contestant.

I have to wonder about a state athletic commission approving a boxing match between a rapist and a racist. But then I remembered ethics and morality don’t exist anymore, especially when money is involved.
