The reboot of the 70s cop show, co-owned by CBS (the owner of most of the library of producer Aaron Spelling) and Sony (who co-owned the original when they were Columbia Pictures Television), was cancelled twice in recent years and then uncancelled--this time, this will be it after eight years:


This follows the recent cancellation of the two spinoffs of "FBI," co-productions of CBS Studios with producer Dick Wolf's home base Universal Television.

Now thinking Shemar Moore goes back to comedy... he tried it in the late 90s with a bunch of guest shots on "Living Single," "Jamie Foxx," "The Nanny" and "Moesha" among others...     B
