Sesame Workshop, the producers of the iconic children's series, lost huge support from WBD's HBO when Daddy Zaslav proclaimed that children's programming was not a primary goal of Max, they can't find a new streaming home yet, Trump and Musk's chain sawing of the federal government means they've lost some vital federal grants and staffers are threatening to unionize--seems like Oscar's really running the place:

I look forward to the eventual Sesame Street/Monday Night RAW crossover event. Projected card:
- Big Bird vs. Seth Rollins (feathers vs. feathers match - IYKYK)
- Oscar the Grouch vs. CM Punk
- Cookie Monster vs. Big Bronson Reed in a cookie eating contest
- Bert & Ernie vs. The Judgement Day
- Zoe & Rocco vs. Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez

Now that I am a grandfather, I am pleased to see that Sesame Street will continue.      Now I'm wondering how it will show up in Canada (netflix? or some other streaming rights thing?).

That hasn't been the case since the mid-90s. They were replaced by a standalone show called "Sesame Park" in 1996, which was itself cancelled in 2001.

Looks like Sesame Street (30 minutes version) shows on Treehouse TV in Canada.

No idea if that includes streaming rights.

I'd like to think that they dub over any uses of "zee" with "zed" (but I assume they don't actually do that).
