* not an actual guarantee of merriment… terms and conditions apply… parts sold separately… not for use with some sets… void in Nebraska

Ditto to all on the list. From the filming location of Letterkenny, and upcoming series Shoresy.

Thanks to all for the notices, discussion, and laughs this year.

* Offer not valid in Quebec. Your mileage may vary. Past performance is not an indication of future returns.

Season’s greetings from the only state where it’s a good thing to get coal in your stocking. (Right, Joe?)

Merry Christmas from a land where the sun has already set on Christmas Day.

I can't remember if I've ever shared this with the list, but for the last 14 years or so, I've made it a practice to annotate the Radio Times (think UK version of the printed TV Guide) and provide a commentary of what's worth watching this side of the pond.

HRH The Queen is on BBC2 instead of BBC1?  Obviously they think she's too senile to notice.

We should know what the American for "Strictly" is.  And "Blankety Blank" is British for "Match Game."

Nope. Her Majesty appeared on BBC1 and ITV at 3:00. She repeated on the Deuce at 5:10. (Also available on YouTube and Alexa.)

Goodness no! The Daily Mail would rise up in revolt! The Queen is on at 3pm on BBC1 and ITV (and all the news channels). There's a delayed screening on BBC2.

Blankety Blank has recently returned to our screens. It seems to get revived to greater or lesser success every 10 years or so. The Weakest Link is also back in a series of celebrity specials.

Speaking of the Mail, you probably know that an American Daily Mail TV show has been running for a few years in syndication, produced by Dr. Phil's production company and distributed by CBS' syndication arm.  The original presenter was a former "Bachelor," which seems to fit both the show and the parent paper.  From the house that Murrow and Cronkite built.
