11/11/20 kayak fished Paradise Lake from 2:30to 5:30.
Cloudy, winds about 8/10 mph at the start. Started fishing the cove to the left of the park area to get out of the wind - no bites. Went out on to the main part of the lake as the wind diminished to about 4/5 mph. Fishing the shore line with Texas rigged weighted June bug trick worms caught one about 2.5 lbs and one about a lb. Then got drenched in the rain. My scale was not working correctly so could not get an accurate weight. Hooked and lost about 5 more. Went under Aloha Rd to the back area and caught a one that was about a lb on a yellow beetle spin.
The approaching hurricane didn't seem to bother these fish.
